Initial unboxing impression: Seems well made and high quality. It’s weighty and feels like legit kit. Use impression: I have a 10+ year old Fox pump, handed down to me with duct tape repairs. It is horrible. Engagement to valve stem is questionable, the stroke seems to actually do something during 20% of the travel, the gauge bounces around erratically. This pump is worse: engagement of the seal is more questionable, gauge bounces around more and pump action seems even less relevant to objective. Fail. I expected more from Fox. I have limited experience with suspension pumps. Maybe this is the best. If so, I need to start a new business.

Pump shaft was bent but it still works ok so did not return. High quality materials and pressure gauge is accurate.

I had to order this product twice. The first time, the pump arrived with a bent knob which must have happened during shipping. I sent it back and a replacement was quickly shipped out; the new one had no damage. Construction is good. Easy to use. One thing I found is I would pump my shock to the desired pressure, but when I unscrewed the pump, I would lose a pound of pressure. So I just pump a pound over and I am good to go.

I am a heavier MTB rider and some of my shock pressures are around 250psi. This little pump makes it easy to check pressure and adjust before a ride. The air release button allows you to drop pressure in very small increments to really get dialed in. The nozzle does not really spin well independently of the air hose. This makes attaching the pump to the shock a little more difficult than I would like. However, the hardware feel, pump action and pressure gauge are all great. If it holds up for another couple seasons I would be happy to purchase again.

I recently got back on my bike which was a mountain bike with full air suspension and change the tires for road riding. Found out low pressure in the rear when I turn on the switch and was making some unusual noise. Cannot figure out why a car battery air pump or a hand pump not working, looked into internet and found out needs special pumps to reach high pressures. I like DIYs and looked for one in Amazon. After reading reviews I decided this one, spent $10 more. Arrived quickly. Hook it up and pumped the air. Needs a little work but able to reach 150 psi. No air leaks during disconnect. Solid constructing. Good. Quality.

I wanted to buy another shock pump both in case I lose one as well as to occasionally make sure I’m getting the right measurements. This is really poorly made. The rubber boot on the air hose is coming off from the factory. Otherwise, it does read very accurately compared to my other shock pump so I have no complaints there. I would probably buy something else if you need one of these.
