FURminator deShedding Tool for Medium/Large Cats, Short Hair, Removes Loose Hair from Shedding

I had no idea she had THAT much loose fur on her. Our first use and I am very happy with the product and the quick delivery.

As I was not expecting too much of a difference from a standard brush or specialized pet comb, but it does much better than both of those alternatives, especially for the difficult to thin out undercoat. The tool is a snap to clean - and the cat took to it well, though it did not get her high grades as the bristles were not as long as other cleanup devices, so the scratching of her chin was less than satisfactory :) . The other brushes can and will do that task alone.

Wow! This really does the job. One of my top ten purchases of all time. Hopefully I find fewer clumps of hair around the house Lol.

Doesn’t really grab as much hair as you expect. I have a medium hair and a short hair cat. To be friends, but I’m not really that impressed with this tool. After one stroke, maybe two strokes is when you would have to empty the tool. It takes forever and it is not time, saving it all.

This tool removes the undercoat easily and very effectively. The design is excellent. The ends of the blade are encased, it’s durable, and the fur is easily removed by hand from the blade. I expect it to last for years. While there are other brands for less money, it’s clear from the photo and description that this fur remover is superior. And I vouch for that.

Photo doesn’t do it justice. Used on 2 short hair cats. Ages 1 and 18. This is the best tool. Removed enough fur to create another cat. No other brush has worked this well on short hair. It just didn’t grab and stick to other brushes and combs. Closest I came was a lint brush. lol Wroked especially well on my 18 y/o kitty who is arthritic with CKD. I was able to remove more hair in less brush strokes. Helps because she doesn’t groom like she used to. Recommended to everyone.

Both of my cats disliked being brushed - it would always turn into play time. This brush is a GAME CHANGER. Both cats run to me when I get this brush out. They love it so much more than a regular brush, plus it gets so much hair off of them! I pulled so much hair off of this brush each time I swiped through my cat. I think I emptied it at least 8 times per cat. I already notice a difference in shedding when I pet them! Best $30 I have spent on my babies!!

Ive tried a lot of brushes...and this is the first one that actually makes a difference and gets a lot of hair....it doesnt just get the loose hairs on top...it gets the hair underneath that is going to shed

My cat has had a problem with loose hair, Ive tried different brushes and they do get some hair, but the loose hair is always there. I thought I was getting a decent amount of hair until I got this product. Just one brush stroke with this and I was literally getting so much hair, I ended up getting probably the most hair in one session in a little amount of time. My cats hair feels noticeably different so I am looking forward to the results when I do this more consistently, am glad I got this purchase.

This is the greatest tool/gadget ever! I hold a paper towel in one hand and the furminator in the other. I make one long pass over the fur, instantly have a full load of it, then pull it off with the paper towel. Back and forth. Easy peasy. It is AMAZING how much comes out!! I’ve definitely noticed less fur around the house. I have 4 cats, and 3 of the 4 love it; the female isn’t enamored, even with the smaller size I ordered for her, but I sneak in some swipes when I can. It’s also amazing how much better the cats’ coats look when I’m done. Five stars for sure.
