When following instructions to a T, the wall anchors that were provided pull out of the wall which makes the furniture secured not secure. This is the key piece of hardware needed to keep our child safe.

These are durable, easy to install, and most importantly: reliable. Ive only had to installed on the wall for my furniture, but itll definitely do if you need to install it onto a bookshelf or similar. These effectively hold a standing coat-rack from my toddler. I also use these for my chair side-tables, and the twist lock feature makes it easy to unlock and move these tables around temporarily. Husband installed, wife approved.

Good value and easy to install, though I wish the metal straps themselves were adjustable.

I tugged on my dresser a bit and the metal snapped in half. Not reliable or safe to protect anything/one important. I’m so glad I tested it.

These say they secure up to 400 lbs. I put two on one cabinet and tested them by pulling on the cabinet a few times and both wire straps broke simultaneously after about three pulls. I would not trust my childs safety with these.

This product brings piece of mind for bookshelves and little kids. Absolutely must have. Easy to install and durable. We have used in multiple houses.

Everything you need is included, dry wall anchors, appropriate lengths of screws for furniture and wall, etc. As easy to install as possible (let’s face it, it’s not fun to anchor furniture). Each set holds up to 200lbs…I used two for each bookshelf just to be over the top extra safe. Ordering more for dressers.

The screws are counter sunk screws. The holes in the brackets are not. A pan head or round head screw would make more sense. Drywall anchors are provided. Uh, I would not trust the strength of drywall to hold up heavy furniture. This is not a complaint about the product or the manufacturer. If you want a reliable installation, the screws should be screwed into the studs, whether they are wood or metal. That may make the spacing or positioning difficult. Keep in mind the anchors on the furniture may not need to be on the ends of the furniture. If a strong attachment point in the middle of the furniture can be found, that may help match up to the anchor placement on the wall. Another alternative is to screw a wood plank to the wall studs, then screw the anchors to the plank. This can certainly be unsightly, but: 1) It can be painted the wall color 2) it will be behind the anchored furniture 3) adding anchors isnt all that attractive in the first place. Another approach is to use longer cables to accommodate some offset.

I have had these holding a fireplace screen so my son will not touch or fall on the hot glass from our gas fireplace. Works well for that because it can be easily removed to have the fireplace serviced. Better than the zip tie I also tried. DO NOT USE TO ANCHOR FURNITURE! Before using these on furniture, I looked again at the listing for institucions and saw a video review saying they easily break. I tied one up and with a firm pull it broke apart. Im glad I found this out before installing on a bookshelf in my sons room. If I can easily break one, they certainly cannot hold the weight of a bookshelf!
