I bought both the renegade and gamibit and ended up keeping the gamibit and returning the renegade. Honestly both bags are almost identical with the exception of the laptop compartment as other reviews mention. The renegade only zips down a partial of the way and is very tight which i guess would give better protection for your laptops/ipads, however, in the 25+ years i have been traveling for business, i have never had a laptop broken because of my backpack so i would rather have a laptop compartment that is more accessible. Other than that, i cant tell the difference between the two. The Gamibit even has the the luggage handle sleeve which the one i bought in 2017 didnt. Thats actually why i tried the renegade first because i didnt think the gamibit had that. Oh, and the Gamibit was about $50 cheaper so im not sure why anyone would purchase the renegade. IMHO

Compared to my old bag (...which I was quite happy with, but the zippers failed after 3 years of hard use).... this bag is a very suitable replacement. It holds a deceptively large amount of stuff. I use it for a business backpack but also just recently used it as a carry-on when travelling for personal reasons. Quality build, lots of pockets all over the place and a comfortable strap config. I would buy another one. Nice bag thats worth the cash and IMO is nicer that the Swissgear bags of comparable pricing.

I really wanted the Ogio Renegade but at $150 I just couldnt pull the trigger. I thought I was settling when I purchased the Ogio Gambit but I was so very wrong. I actually read somewhere that the Gambit was the successor to the Renegade at half the price.

Bought this to carry my 15 inch MacBook Pro, iPad Pro and many accessories and tools. Very well constructed and has plenty of space for everything I carry. It is also very comfortable and has been working well. I have been carrying it every work day for the past few months. Would highly recommend this pack!

Bought this to replace a messenger-style bag which I never liked. This one has plenty of room to carry my office gear every day: a couple of laptops, the usual assortment of cords and chargers and whatever else you need. The appearance is professional and not too backpacky, Mission Impossible or nerdy. I have other bags and backpacks I use for my gym gear and for hiking/outdoors; this bag I feel is best suited for daily commute and business travel. Construction and materials are quality and zippers seem like they will last a long time. Happy with purchase.

Using this backpack for travel and work over 30 weeks a year and so far it has handled every task perfectly. The outer pockets serve as functional organizers for different items. The multitude of storage areas inside allow you to customize the pack for your specific needs. After reviewing Samsonite, Targus and a number of others I can say with confidence this is the best laptop pack for organizing gear and not a bunch of papers. The sunglasses vault in the top is a big bonus, you can throw them in there without the case and never worry. The zippers are heavy duty and the design of the bag keeps all of the pockets accessible even when it is fully packed. Buy it, youll like it.

This bag is incredible. I do 200K airmiles per year in business travel. I replaced a High Sierra pack which had done a good job and served its time.
