Cutest little thing. My daughter loves it and how small it is. She takes it everywhere. Unfortunately we lost it and she was devastated. So happy I found it here online to buy her another. She is so happy!!

It took two tries from Amazon, but the replacement toy I received was the correct plush toy and adorable. We specifically ordered the tan and white (the product page calls it brown and white) hamster for someone whod just lost a little pet they loved. In the product picture, the plush toy looked just like the dearly departed pet. But Amazon sent us a pale grey and white hamster (that was in a plastic bag labelled brown and white). That was no good. It (A) looked pretty washed out and had no personality and (B) didnt look like the pet it was supposed to resemble. Amazon customer service was very responsive and pleasant. They arranged a replacement/exchange right away. The second Ganz hamster that arrived was the correct color. It honestly looks like a real little hamster and is quite cute. It sits about 3.5 tall. Id highly recommend this toy (if you can get the color you desire). For hamster lovers I think it would be a hit!

I had bought the beige-and-white one of these for my husband a year or so ago. (He has a running joke about hamsters and murder mysteries.) He liked it so well that he brings it out every evening when we watch television so that Hamish Hamster can join us. When I decided to get one for myself, I ordered it in brown-and-white so that we could tell them apart. The company sent me the grey-and-white by mistake. Made no difference to me, although I was a bit surprised when I opened the package. At any rate, Hamish Hamster now has a girlfriend, Isobel -- if you are a Hamish Macbeth fan, you will understand -- and we are all happy watching Midsomer Murders and the like. It is a nice, soft and cute plush creature. Perfect for young and old.
