I carry a small bag these days so was looking for a very small umbrella and this one fit the bill! Its about the size of my hand, when closed and wrapped up. Be aware that this means minimal coverage of your body/wingspan of the canopy. It covered me just fine but my cross body bag did get a few rain drops on it, which I was fine with. Ive only used this once and it wasnt windy that day so I cant speak to how sturdy it would be under those conditions but the material feels nice and premium as do the bones - I hope it works for quite a while, was a good value and I love the orange color!

I hate giving bad reviews, but I am soooo tired of getting inferior foreign products! The first time I used this umbrella was today. I’m standing trying to open it before stepping into the rain with no other umbrella with me. I couldn’t get it to click into place, so I used it halfway open. Later when I was inside, I forced so hard to open it that I thought for sure it would break. It did not break…this time. However, if this continues, it will not hold up…if I can even get it open to use it!

I bought a pair of these to keep in the storage compartment of my car doors, so I can have door umbrellas like a Rolls Royce. Ive only used them a couple of times, but other than being a little hard to lock into the extended position, they work quite well. They take a little effort to get back into the sleeve, but twisting as you push makes it easier. Another plus is that replacement door umbrellas for a RR are $600/ea, and these are considerably less expensive, albeit a bit smaller.

Love the compact size of this umbrella and it has really come in handy. Not sure how long it will last as the durability doesnt seem that great- but it is good enough and the compact size is a plus.
