Its what comes in the box with the Garmin Edge 1000. its nothing better or longer. Its quite shallow when you want to mount this and say an iPhone​ on the same bar/stem.

More heavy duty than the non-Garmin one I previously had that broke.

My rating is solely based on the balanced position on which my Garmin Edge 1000 sits when attached to this mount - or rather lack of balance. This mount positions the Garmin crooked, both side to side (tilted), and as well it clicks in at a slight angle (screen readout is not completely horizontal, slightly tilted to the right). This may not bug someone else, but for me its a fatal flaw and it reeks havoc in my OCD mind! FWIW, my old Garmin mount for my Edge 510 did the same thing, but not as bad. Anyway, Ive since ordered the K-Edge mount, and MAN, WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The K-Edge is perfectly balanced, a better mount in every way (5 stars for it).
