Garmin Garmin Replacement Band - Black/Red

I purchased this to replace an band damaged in an accident. I have tried to replace the plastic bands on previous Forerunners, but have found them to be difficult to work with. This was relatively easy to install and all the right tools were included. Feels solid and almost factory new.

Instructions are easy to follow and the install was quick and easy.

Came with the tools needed to switch the band. A bit pricey however provides everything you need.

The replacement band for my Garmin Forerunner 220 arrived promptly but more importantly it exceeded expectations. Very good quality, it is the official replacement band, and it came with all pins and tools to make replacement a breeze. In fact, I replaced the band in all of about 60 seconds. Great product

Ive now had two Garmin wristbands for my Forerunner. Both had the same problem...they broke after about a year of use. The rubber they use for the band is too stiff and doesnt flex well, so when you bend the band backwards slightly when putting it on, it starts to crack. After a while it breaks completely. Luckily, when mine finally broke, it happened when I was sleeping. Otherwise, it might have fallen off out on the road and I could have lost my watch. Add to that, it is pricey, and I strongly suggest you find an alternative to this band. I got one for half the price that is much better.
