Its a good mount for the wyze cam v3. The knly thing I dont like is that u have to make sure the motion notch is in the correct spot for how u want to move it before its tightened down

The mounting plate and all of the adjustment nuts are plastic. Not sure how durable they really are, but they dont feel that durable. The fit and look are excellent though, and the range of motion is much better than the original. As far as weatherproofing...I mean it will keep some light rain off...the protective case is light grade silicone. Not the worst but we will see how it does over time...it was only $9 so I cant complain too much.

It is made mostly of plastic not metal. So I only gave 3⭐. If it holds up this winter Ill re-review.

this replaces the existing base with a mini mount that is more flexible. It also provides a well fitting skin to make most of the camera black- no coverage on the bottom. Also has some shade / rain cover on the top edge and a little of the top side. it does have a cutout on the back for the speaker, mic, and power cord. I’ll use some black tape to finish covering the bottom. The base is lightweight plastic so i could see the ball socket slipping pretty easily even if the camera is light- might be worth roughing up the ball a little or adding some caulk. Good for the price but with some limitations as described

I purchased 2 of these for my outside wyze v3s. The work great and keep the lens clear from rain and snow.

Night vision is so on point. Color and contrast is amazing. I have been using wyze cameras for several years now and this one by far has exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend

Theres no plans to screw the mount to on the camera. The sleeve doesnt cover the leg of the camera. I had to had a bolt of my own to get it to work but more it doesnt lay flush and its black and white now

I used this cam mount for a SimpliSafe cam. I did drill a hole on my camara pedestal. I inverted it and attached to the Gcioii Mount. No other hardware was used, except a plastic spacer. An original SimpliSafe camara mount is $20. the Gcioii Mount is only $9. Having said that, I would never use this mount for exteriors. The plastic mount (main body) is made of a very cheap plastic. I do not think it will last, it may be calcinated by the sun easily.
