> 3 daySetting up the plugs in the cync app is easy and they work great. The problems lies with setting it up with alexa. I was only able to get 1 side on 2 plugs working. It is almost like alexa gets confused with it. I even had the plug replaced and it did the same thing with all three plugs. Basically I am only able to control one outlet on each plug because alexa cannot find the second outlet on the plugs. I also spent plenty of time on the phone with both GE and Amazon alexa support. Neither know what is happening or how to fix it.

> 3 dayWe got this when e we decided to install landscape lights. We only wanted them on when folks were around so this allows us to easily turn our lights on out off from our phones or through Alexa. Super simple install.

> 3 dayThis has to be the biggest waste of money all year! I have a no name 4 outlet plug that works way better and it was half the price. This looks nice and it seems nice but for starters, it is not very small and compact as the photos. Not a big deal. It worked for a minute with the app that has a 2 star rating but then it is continually Not Found! Restart the app and still not found. Unplug the device and plug it back in and it works! ONCE! Then you start over again. So basically you may as well save yourself some money and walk outside and pull the plug out yourself. Now try syncing with Alexa or Google Home! You think using the app was bad? You are in for an experience here! Everything works just the same as with the 2 star app! However now you can hear Alexa tell you the plug isnt responding! I would love this to be all that was bad about this but wait, theres more! In the description it says you get an outlet cover to make it usable outdoors and it show a clear plastic cover to make it usable! Yeah, it isnt in the box! The only thing in the box is the useless plug, a useless instructions manual and wait for it... 1 screw and a cheap plastic drywall anchor. You know in case you want to mount this on your drywall outside in the driveway. This is literally the second time in a week Amazon sold me garbage. They have a wonderful return policy as long as you dont mind driving it to a ups store or a Kohls or an Amazon locker. How about you pick it up when you drop off the new one that works? Or stop selling junk! Do some research before listing deal of the day items? I buy based on trust, this is obviously useless junk according to the app reviews. The app needed is called cync? When you try to connect to your Alexa or echo, there isnt a n option for this brand. If you use the selection labeled GE, it wont let you continue without a hub! So skip this and go to add skill. Then it asks for all your information and then asks are you sure? I should have taken the hint... Stay away from this unless you are in the mood to drive to return it or just waste your money. In case I didnt get my message across, this product is garbage!

> 3 dayOkay to initially add to Alexa but it is so unreliable. When I set it up in a group to be included, it wont turn on with everything else in that group. Even when I try to turn the 2 plug on separately and directlyfrom their app, it shows unresponsive. I got it on a treasure truck deal and it still isnt worth the $14.99 I paid. I do not recommend at all. I have several other items synced with Alexa and this is the only one that gives me issues.

> 3 dayEasy to install and works perfect. No more walking out and manually turning on outdoor patio lights.

> 3 daySetup was simple, and it moved over to the Google Home service easily. I was able to DELETE the GE app from my phone and these continue to work. Very happy about that. We use these for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas lights, so theyre outside very frequently. We have two of them in the alcove where our front door is and generally theyre completely protected from weather, but we had a wild storm come through a few weeks after we bought these. The rain whipped up the stairs and INTO one of the smart plugs. It was insane. Our circuits broke, etc and I ended up having to dump water out of the plug. Turns out my contractor grade 3-way extension cord managed to get water logged and the smart plug was not what tripped the breaker. After getting the water out, and letting it dry for a few days, it still works. :)

Greater than one weekStill not setup up entirely right. Resorted to rebooting my phone after trouble shooting guide didnt work. I got the devices recognized that way... finally. Updated firmware didnt help. Ive had good luck with Cync switches and flood lights but this outdoor plug is a pain. Update: Simply could not get Routines to work via the Cync app on Android. I did get the routines working by going through the Google Home app. I set up the routine in the Home app and it works fine.

> 3 dayI purchased a total of four of these devices and they work perfectly as intended. They interact easily with Alexa and the app that you use to control them and set them up is exceptionally well thought out and very-very easy to use. This is simply the best wifi outdoor switch I have found.

> 3 dayThis is a great addition to my outdoor bistro lights. Easy to use through the app or a button on the unit to turn on/off. Only complaint, I set up an auto on program and can’t figure out how to change it! Also, there’s no option to turn off at a certain time.

> 3 dayIt works great and as intended, but needs to be unplugged and plugged in about once a month to reconnect.
