Very bright for 40 watts, very bright.

Loves these bulbs. Put them in on Friday when I received them, here we are on tuesday, for no reason at all the bulb iteslf detached from the rest of the light and came shattering down the stairs. Lovely!! Seemed like a good price, by a good lighting company. Guess GE bulbs are not the way to go, dont buy these!! Definitely a hazard and waste of money:(

Color does not seem to be as advertised. This bulb is said to be 2000k, but it seems to me to have a lower color temperature than another bulb advertised as 2100k. I would not recommend this if you’re interested in an authentic incandescent look. Other than that, it dims smoothly with a combination dimmer switch (that’s advertised as working with LED, incandescent & fluorescent). A few jitters were observable when used with an old switch made solely for incandescent. WARNING— when put into a fixture controlled by a Lutron Caseta PD-6WCL it wouldn’t stop flashing while powered on.

Overall, the the light is has a very orange glow. There was also a wire hanging off the bulb. It’s very expensive for what it offers. I would recommend getting another bulb unless you really like a more orange color light in your room.

As title! The bulbs they replaced flickered even on a made-for-LED dimmer, these are fine. Stylish look!

Have others but these are the best if you want vintage amber.

These bulbs give the beautiful, soft lighting of long ago, and I love them! Exactly what I desired in my buffet lamps.

Nice bulbs look great in our light over island. Good price compared to the store.
