> 3 dayAfter using one of these testers you will throw your old corded one away nice bright red light and beep lets you see and hear to see if there is power to the circuit you are testing without worrying about you ground wire falling off when you are upside under a dash or trying to get a good ground simply hold the tester and touch any metal part of what you are working on with any part of your body that has skin exposed forearm,elbow other hand etc many time you are already touching some thing that has a ground battery last forever this is my second one first one lasted me 3 years of hard use many falls and the battery was still good

> 3 dayAlthough it is vaguely buried in the description, I dont think it is clear that this unit ONLY detects positive (+) DC current. If you work on pre-World War II antique cars this unit will not identify a live circuit on positive ground systems. The tech support folks at GTC were very helpful in identifying this limitation. It works fine on modern cars and other low voltage negative ground systems. Unfortunately, it is useless for my applications.
