We got this during the recent Purpleair smoke event from the Canadian Wildfires, which came down & blanketed my city. I went outside the first day not knowing anything was going on & it smelled like a building was on fire We have this small Germ Guardian air purifier, is germ guardian one word? Probably anyway weve had it on/off for the last year or more. Needling to change filters due to the poor air quality & the fact the old filter was likely useless, we got this. Its not like this is a $500 air purifier to begin with so i wasnt expecting a new filter to change that but it works well enough for what it is.

This is a HEPA-rated air filter for a unit I use in my bedroom at night to help me sleep. After about 6 months use I needed to replace my worn filter for a new one. This one fit the bill. I suppose it cleans and filters the air, the filter sure looks like its battle-worn. So pop in the new one and I suppose its doing its job and cleaning the air I breath. Dont know if it works against Covid or not but taking no chances. My inside air is going to be fresh and clean with two different air filters running, both HEPA, as well as my home a/c unit with HEPA filter.

I had my air filter for about 8 months. I have been using it 24/7 more frequently because I now live with a cat and am allergic. As you can see it works very well. I noticed when it needed to be changed when I started sneezing and was congested. Once I replaced it, I slept amazing that night with no congestion in the morning! It lasts a long time and is SO easy to replace. A very reasonable price for how long it lasts. I will update when I replace this current one to give a more accurate length when using it 24/7.

Easily went into my air purifier, even though it had a yellow color on the band on outside my original one did not. Really thats about all you need. A filter just has to do its job once installed.

I found the genuine filter at this time to only be $1 more expensive than the off brands. Decided to go with a genuine. Came quickly an came with the charcoal pre-filter, which I had a hard time figuring out if it did on some listings. It did fit a little more snug than the original one that came with the air purifier. This is my first replacement so Im not sure if thats common or just a mishap. Either way it still works fine and I plan to keep vacuuming the pre-filter every 2 weeks.

Easy to install, not terribly expensive and does what it is supposed to do. The amount of dust it catches is amazing.

This fit my GermGuardian model AC4100 like a glove. Easy to install - simply pop off the back over, remove the old filter, pay attention to the arrows and put the cover back on. Authentic filter replacement; will purchase again.

My mom was a very heavy smoker and these filters made visiting her SO much more pleasant. In her small apartment, the smoke hung thick in the air and could really be overwhelming. After starting to use these filters, it was a completely different experience.
