Ghost Controls Premium Wireless Keypad for Automatic Gate Openers - Model AXWK

I really like this product. It can be programmed with 20 access codes so you can give people that require access a code that is unique to them that they can remember. It also has the ability to store codes that can only be used the number of times that you specify. This is a great feature if you need to give a code to a contractor or delivery company that only needs access a few times. The instructions were easy to follow and programming the unit was easy. If you have a remote that is already programmed with the opener code you can use the remote to load the opener code into the key pad. I purchased this unit to use with a single gate opener. Overall I am very impressed with the products made by Ghost Controls. I am anxiously waiting for the Zombie Lock to be released so I can install it to insure my gate is not only closed, but also locked.

Be warned... You need C batteries. Ordered for a remote install and there was no mention of needing to buy C batteries. And to top that off none of the features for the Ghost Controls opener are configurable without this optional keypad... and batteries.

Easy install and not too difficult to program. Works great with my Ghost Controls opener.

At first the programming was super easy. Then it hit like some kinda weird mode that caused any numbers to open the gate without even hitting send. So i popped a battery out to reset the thing and i had to activate the programming mode again which is super easy but just annoying. I like the controlled but it needs like it need a firmware update to fix this particular issue. Other than that- no complaints.

Withstood tornado weather and still working like a charm, even has an unlisted option to close the gate with the same pin you open it with, perfect.
