Ive used Gillette since the 90s when the Mach 3 was introduced. Gillettes top end razors have always given a close shave with less irritation than other razors. I get razor burn and bumps easily, and these razors are very compatible with my skin. Anyone with sensitive skin should be using these imo. Even women, my wife doesnt use ladies razors anymore either, she uses these. If youre thinking about trying the Fusion 5, give them a try odds are theyre much better than what youre using.

I have not found a better razor. Ive tried electric, various shave clubs, etc. and keep coming back to these. The shave club razors came close but were never quite as good as these are and were just as expensive, if not more so. Im sure other similarly expensive brands are maybe as good, but these are what Ive used for years. If someone could invent an electric razor that shaved as close as these you could sell it for a thousand dollars or more. These are good for maybe a dozen shaves, depending on your pain tolerance, and thats the problem. They are expensive, like three plus dollars per blade, and then disposed of. They dont necessarily get completely dull, they get gunked up with skin, hair, shaving cream, whatever. There are various internet tricks like using an old pair of jeans to clean/hone them and restore some life, but theyll never be as good as they are new (I havent tried boiling them, hmmmm?)

I have been using these razors for years. They are great but sadly I wished that they lasted longer, I feel like I have to replace the blades more often than I want to.
