My Favorite Razors

I got a three-pack of these as a free sample from Gillette. I currently use the Venus with the refillable cartridges and have used the regular disposable Venus before, but never the sensitive. I was much more pleased with the sensitive disposable than the regular. I do have very sensitive skin, and the refillable Venus is one of the only razors that gives me a close shave without tearing up my legs. The regular disposable didnt give me a close shave and nicked me several times, so I was skeptical about the sensitive version. I was pleasantly surprised. The shave was pretty close to what I get with the refillable cartridge, and I didnt nick or cut myself once. What I didnt like is that the handle is smaller than the refillable, and I felt several times like the razor was going to slide across my legs the wrong way, but I was careful so I didnt cut myself. Although I would not replace my refillable Venus with the sensitive disposable, I will use the disposable for trips so I dont have to worry about keeping up with or losing my Venus handle. I would also buy the sensitive disposable in a pinch if I couldnt get my cartridges.

Fairly flimsley.

I got these for FREE from Gillette! They are great for a disposable shaver as I travel frequently! They provide a close shave, not as close as some other Venus razor blades, but they are great for travelers with sensitive skin! I can shave my legs and underarms without any shaving creams. I definitely recommend using these if you are traveling for a week or less, as I got about 4 uses out of each!

Works great

I received these at no cost from Gillette to review. I liked the color and lightweight feel of the razor but felt it didnt get my legs nearly as smooth as my usual razor (Bic Soleil). They werent as bad as other razors Ive tried, but I dont see myself buying these.
