My son was in the middle of potty training and we had not used a potty chair or other tools. We went camping and he would not use the potty chair. I was looking for something that I could safely put on a toilet. We started using at home to make sure it didnt slip or pinch - reading other product reviews that seemed to be the issue with most of them. The day I got this we starting using it. He had no issues with it. It didnt slip at all - just make sure to pull the tabs down and set it on the potty and move it to the correct position. It didnt pinch when he sat and wiggled, and he doesnt really sit still. It is also very strong - I have sat on it and it held me. The added bonus to this seat was the duel case and plastic bag. I clean it before we leave the house and put it in the black bag, once out and about and it gets used I put it in the plastic bag and then in the black bag. This way after using it in a public restroon Im not putting it back in a clean bag.

I cant imagine live without this. I just lost one and bought two more immediately after they were 50% off. Avoid any and all awkward bending-over-holding-the-kid stance and/or backpains. Great for visiting a friends house, restaurant, etc... I keep this folded up in my daughters backpack alongside a couple diapers.

I love the idea of this product. However Ive found that it does still slip and even though it prevents my daughter from having to sit directly on a public potty, Im still weirded out by the product itself touching the public toilet. Getting it out of the bag and onto the potty isnt as quick as Id like and Ive found that most of the time Id rather use one of those disposable covers or tissue to cover the toilet seat than to get this out and use it. I do like that it makes my daughter feel more secure and not like shes going to fall into the toilet, but as I already said it does slip on me so I dont feel comfortable putting her on it and not holding onto her still. Pros and cons to this product. UPDATE: Gimars contacted me after posting my original review of 3 Stars to see what the problem was exactly with the product. Being a mom of a 2 year old potty trainer as well as a newborn, I didnt respond to their message immediately. They proceeded to message me three days in a row. When I did respond and told them my issues with the product, they responded so quickly that they were doing an update to address my issues. They then asked if I was interested in receiving one of the updated versions for further testing and review. I said that I was. When I received the new product there are now 6 silicon strips on the bottom of the product to reduce slipping as opposed to the 4 that were on the original product that I bought. While the additional two strips do help, the biggest thing is ensuring that you use the fold down clips. These were with the original product I received, but I didnt use them every time. Ill tell you that Ive bounced back and forth with this company between feeling like they were contacting me too frequently--they bordered on quite annoying--and being completely impressed with their customer service and efforts to ensure that their product is the best version it can be. Theyre certainly attentive. But as I said earlier...mom of a potty training two year old and a newborn (now 4 months old)...I dont have much time to get out and about as I did as a mom of one when I originally started using this product. I certainly feel the product was improved with their updates and wanted to update my review to reflect this. But it still isnt a 100% 5 Star product for me.

We just finished a road trip from lA, CA to OR- almost 16 hour drive. This was the perfect item for the trip-it worked on all toilets (Starbucks, truck stops, restaurants, etc). My little one loved knowing she wouldn’t fall into the toilet and that she didn’t need to be held (which is major for a independent toddler).

We bring this on vacations for our toddler. Comes with a carry pouch, conveniently folds up, but I wish there werent so many nooks and crannies on the underside (ease of cleaning well questionable). Issue we had was that on many toilet seats it doesnt sit perfectly flat so when my daughter got on it, she got pinched at the folds a few times. We are more careful about that now that we are aware. Other than that, its a very useful product. Shed fall in the toilet without someone holding her the whole time. It helps us keep more hands free and helps instill her confidence at using the toilet on her own.

Let me first say that our of the bag I love this seat. The silicone pads on the back of the seat do indeed help to keep it from moving around for the most part on the seat. The two tabs that fold down to keep it from shifting around are also nice. If they dont break. Which mine did a week after purchasing it. My daughter was using the seat and she shifted on it just slightly and it ended up snapping the tab back the wrong way. The other tab is fine which still helps keep the seat from shifting too much. But still disappointed that the tab broke after a week of use. I was also worried about the seams where the seat folds for travel. That they would pinch her when she sat. However ive not noticed any pinching and she doesnt complain while sitting on it, so I think that is a non issue. This seat is great for taking with you shopping or out to eat. I hated having to hold my daughter up so she doesnt fall through the toilet. This fits every toilet seat ive ever put it on. It really is great. I think my only other complain is that after only having this for a few weeks the owl design on the seat is pretty much completely washed off at this point. It seems like it was just painted on top of the plastic and everytime I wash the seat or wipe it down with clorox wipes more and more of the owl scrapes off of it. Not a big deal, I didnt buy it for the picture on it. But would still be nice if it wasnt flaking off all the time.
