I bought this on the basis of other reviews and found this supplier offered the best price. Very solidly made scissors good for a variety of tasks including cutting leather. Delivery was prompt but was delayed a bit as a result of a screwup by my post office. I got it redelivered through a USPS internet link.

Nice to replace the ones my kids destroyed growing up at a reasonable price.

i can cut leather effortlessly. more comfortable than I thought since it doesnt have the comfort grip on it. Over all I am happy with my new scissors.

These scissors were extremely handy when cutting through leather for my shoe making class.

I bought these to use in my leathercrafting toolbox. They cut though 10oz leather like butter and with much less hand pressure than my leather shears. I was a little bummed that unlike many other Gingher scissors, this one did not come with any kind of sheath. Hence my first project with them was to make one myself. These are great shears and a great addition to your crafting tools.

I bought these for my husband because he makes leather goods/tack and was in need of a good pair of scissors. He was super impressed with these! He immediately grabbed a thick piece of leather and they cut right through them like it was nothing. I tried myself (being the weakly woman) and they are definitely the best pair of shears Ive ever used! Great purchase for what he does! I wouldnt mind having some for myself!

One word says it all...Gingher... you really dont have to look any farther than that. Yes, they were sharp, cuts 12 oz leather like butter, and fits in the holster I made for them.... buy a pair, leave them to your Grandchildren...
