> 3 dayThis stuff is awesome. We use to demonstrate how well our Norwex cloths work at picking up all germs from the counter.

> 3 dayI got this for our medical office to show the staff that they may not be washing their hands well enough or long enough (and to demonstrate that there are germs in places they hadnt thought about). Unfortunately, the joke was on me. It made a mess of whatever I put it on (including hands)! It has the texture of corn startch and sprinkles out like powdered sugar. It was very difficult to clean up. I used a vacuum cleaner to get the worst of it, but even using warm, soapy water and spray cleaner, it left a cruddy feel to the desk top. I wouldve saved my time and money on this if I had known what I was getting.

> 3 dayI have used this a few times to teach hand washing, and the children are catching on. Very helpful, and lasts for a long time if your alittle at a time

> 3 dayOur charity uses this product in a developing country to teach the importance of washing hands with soap. This is a great tool for that. My only complaint is the cost. If we could get it at a bulk price it would really help us to help more people.

> 3 dayI find that everytime I open the top of the container, I am covered in glogerm. Other than that-product works as it should.

> 3 dayThis stuff is so neat! I bought it to use with a group of 30 homeschoolers ranging in age from 3-12. I did quite a bit of experimenting prior to the class to make sure I understood the characteristics. For me, I found that the powder applied to the hands on its own was not going to work. You could see the powder a bit with the naked eye, which wasnt what I was going for. The liquid form of GloGerm was too expensive, so I decided to add about a tsp of powder to 1 tbsp of lotion, mix it well, then rub a bit into my hands. It disappeared completely! Then I touched the counter, some paper, a pencil, etc. Using a blacklight flashlight, I found the germs transferred nicely to every surface I touched (as long as I touched firmly, not just a light butterfly touch). They also made my hands practically glow! The germs were illuminated and visible even when I was standing in daylight in my house, but of course visibility is better in a darkened room. To wash off, liquid soaps works better than bar soap. You will need to scrub for at least 20 seconds all around, then thoroughly rinse under running water. If you dont wash for that long, it wont come off that well. This really does teach good hand washing technique. The next day, the kids smeared this all over their hands, looked under the blacklight, then washed their hands with no instructions given. Needless to say, many still had germs on their hands after the first washing. They then traced their hands and shaded the problem areas where they need to focus when washing hands, and then washed their hands again, with instruction this time. All hands came out clean after that second washing. Very powerful! My children still wash well and remember this object lesson! Highly recommend! This has a LOT of powder. We used it for 30 kids and had some made-up lotion left over to send home with them (to show their dads) and only ended up using about 1/4 of an inch of the powder in the container!

15-04-2025We ordered this for a Cub Scout activity. It really helped the boys realize the importance of washing their hands properly. The parents also tried it. It was a fun demonstration.

Greater than one weekI ordered this for my 5th grade class to kick off our unit on microorganisms in the first week of school. I used it with 86 kids and probably have enough powder to do this for the next 5 years. GREAT product. Be sure you use a black light light bulb!
