Gorilla All Weather Outdoor Waterproof Duct Tape, UV and Temperature Resistant, 1.88 x 25 yd, Black, (Pack of 1)

I may have received an old roll of Gorilla outdoor weather proof tape. The top layer of tape has stock to the next layer and is extremly difficult to remove. Spent 5 min. just getting the tape started. Cant use for the purpose I purched it for.

So I normally don’t bother to leave reviews; but this tape is incredibly impressive. We bought this tape to try an repair the reusable bag my son uses for his outdoor recess/snow gear. As any parent knows, a first grader can be savage on their bag(s). We are a month and a half in since “Operation Tape Reinforcement” and the tape is holding up perfectly. Wet and cold, and the tape is holding together better than the bag. I figured that it would be a daily activity to repair the bag, and mess with the tape. But we are now weeks in its still holding strong.

So I bought this because I had bought some secure cameras for outdoor use. The cameras came with mounts with double sided tape. All was well, until it for really Hot and they all fell down. I bought a couple different outdoor mounting tapes and I kept getting the same results. Then I stumbled across this magical tape. Its awesome. Very easy to tear pieces off, and it holds great. So far so good, with no issues. For the first time in months I havent had to go outside and fix a camera that was falling down and pointing at the ground.

Kinda disappointed in this tape. I was expecting it to work alot better. It came off the next day after applying and left a nasty residue behind. I will not purchase again...

Simply the BEST tape for outdoor/weatherproof tasks. Use this tape when putting an outdoor AC covers. The addition of this tape to really secure the cover to the outer case. It holds without fail, through the rain, snow and cold of winter. Only words of praise for this weatherproof tape. Go, go, gorilla tape.

Gorilla makes the best duct tape. This one is waterproof, cold and heat resistant. Bring a knife as ripping off a piece of this tape to use is nearly impossible.

I used this on the bottom of my wife’s Honda CR-V after I installed running boards 9 years ago. I had to cut openings in the plastic protective undercover of her vehicle and unfortunately I didn’t measure well so I had some much larger than needed openings. Recently I noticed the running boards were rusting and falling apart so I decided to remove them. The gorilla tape was still there and in great shape. I actually had a hard time removing it. This is 9 years later and her crv has 170,000 miles on it. Also, I live in the northeast and we have brutal winters. After I removed the running boards and the old tape, I covered the openings with new tape and I’m sure it’ll last longer than the crv does. Very strong and durable tape. Highly recommended.

Every year I have to seal up my mothers wall ac unit so cold air doesnt come through in the winter. And every year, this is the tape I use because nothing is stronger or reliable. I only have to tape it up once and it doesnt come off until I rip it off when it gets hot enough that she needs to use the AC. Because its so strong it is a little challenging to get off but not too bad. I use it outdoors on metal so I cant speak to paint damage. I would imagine if you use something this strong indoors, it will likely cause some kind of damage to your paint or wallpaper when you rip it off.
