> 3 dayI liked the first one and the pins enough that I bought a second, so I could take one to my cutting area and still have one by the sewing machines.

> 3 dayI have a lot of different pin cushions and holders, depending on what type of project I’m working on. I got this magnetic one to use by my sewing machine, so when I’m concentrating on my stitching I don’t even have to look over because this one “grabs” the pins. It helps keep my workspace tidy! It’s heavy enough to double as a pattern weight on my cutting table as well. The magnet is strong enough to hold the pins, but not so much you’re fighting to get them off. Great tool!

> 3 dayI wish I had bought one (or more) of these years ago. It really speeds up my sewing when I don’t have to put pins back in the pin cushion, just get them near this magnetic dish as they stay. Makes pins easy to grab also. Just be careful not to get other metal objects near it. I accidentally got my fabric shears too close and was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to pull them away, the magnolia pretty strong.

> 3 dayNice this baby is big I still haven’t read deminsions but I got my money’s worth. This is not a tiny thing it’s a generous size and the pins are nice and big. They are sturdy too. I got 2 of these love them.

16-04-2025I used the same magnetic pincushion since the 80s, that is until I knocked it off the table one too many times and broke it. I replaced it with two Grabbits, black and teal, so I could have one at my sewing machine and the other by my coverstitch. These are every bit as nice and heavy as my vintage one. Toss the pins to the Grabbit as you sew and they go right in, all lined up the same direction as they should. To prevent knocking them off my tables I bought two textured jar openers (from Amazon) to put underneath to keep them from sliding. Works great!

> 3 dayI love the ability to quickly pitch the pin to the magnet as Im removing them from the material as Im sewing. I dont have to try and stick the pin an actual cushion, slowing me down on a project or hope they dont roll off the table because Im too lazy to bother placing them in one while sewing. Its really convenient. If you are organized, you can place them in the same direction and minimize poking yourself while retrieving one. If you dont ever want to risk poking yourself from retrieving a pin from the pin cushion, then maybe this isnt for you. But really, if you are sewing and never get poked, youre from another world. Would definitely buy again.

> 3 dayIm new to sewing. The pins I originally bought had fine heads and were hard to see. It was also easy to miss one that might not bave made it back into its storage container. This magnetic pin cushion is sold with bright coloured pin heads which are easy to see. The cushion grips the pins firmly enough that when I turn it upside down the pins remain firmly attached to it. I can hover it around my work area to make sure I havent missed any pins or needles. I am happy with this purchase.
