This stuff smells amazing and works better than any beard balm ive tried before. To me its smells of vanilla and spice my girl told me to take a chance on it and i love it. The oil and beard balm smell the exact same and the both work great on there on or together. I actually trimmed my beard to start my beard journey over because the product was doing excellent conditioning my uneven scruffy beard. I have nothing negative to say about grave before shave and this product keep up the good work!!

Awsome but kind of smells more like a rootbeer fliat than cigar and vanilla to me.

So most of us already know that GBS stuff is high quality, and keeps your beard soft and mostly tame (though personally I wish it held a little better as I have curly hair), but most want to know about the scent. It smells just like vanilla cherry Dr pepper. Its not a bad smell, but is VERY sweet.It does last all day too. So while I love the product and will use it till its gone, Ill be looking for slightly more manly scent on re-order. 5 Stars for the product itself, 3.5 for the scent. ***UPDATE*** After having worn this for a couple months I have started to pick up the cigar scent. It comes on after youve worn it for a few hours, but its definitely there. New scent score of 4.2

I like the unique smell. I wish the balm was a bit thicker for my beard type. I believe for most, it’s thick enough.

This is one of the first beard products I ever used. GBS has been a go-to for me since 2017. The texture of the oil is fairly light and absorbs into the beard hair with no problems. The beard balm has a scent that matches perfectly and emulsifies with ease. How would I describe the scent? There’s vanilla and spice, but it does not smell like a cigar in my opinion.

These are great products! I’ve been having a difficult time getting any kind of length on my beard without it frizzing out and looking scruffy and unkept. Ran across this product while searching beard oils and the art and flavors drew me in. The package arrived a couple days before Christmas, which was good timing due to holiday travels. I immediately started applying the balm, which was a little difficult at first until I figured out to allow it to melt between my fingertips before applying. This allowed my beard and mustache to relax and soften and made it more trainable. The smell was great! Kind of a spiced Dr. Pepper smell. I was very pleased with it, but my wife absolutely loved it! For as good as the balm is, I found myself using the oil much more often. I tend to use the balm on special occasions, but the oil I apply on a daily basis. A few drops applied on the beard and mustache and spread evenly with a fine toothed comb does the trick. Using this, my beard has finally stopped frizzing out and started to achieve more length and fullness. I also had issues with my skin drying and flaking under my beard, but haven’t had this problem since using these products. Just little goes a long way! So use sparingly.
