The story line was very well written and the actors performances were ... well, I cant come up with a word to describe what phenomenal job they did bringing these characters to life. Based on a true story, too, showing how two people from different worlds become lifelong friends. Many laughs and heart-warming moments.

Amazing movie

Frankly I prefer seeing movies in theaters, but wasnt able to catch this. But if I had, I probably would have bought the DVD anyway. Im so glad that I did get it to add to my collection! Beautiful addition to share with others. Superb acting, wonderful story. My emotions ran the gamut as I got a glimpse of these bygone times. The courage it took for the black people just to partake in the American dream is just awe inspiring.

I enjoyed this movie because it is filled with real life experiences! While the story is simple, it paints a beautiful portrait of two men, polar opposites, who bond and become lifelong friends exhibiting respect for each other, despite their obvious flaws! This film offers viewers a glimpse of what interpersonal relationships can result, if we just listed to someone else! Bravo to all involved in creating this screen gem!

I watched this movie with friends and found it moving and informative. As an elderly Southern white man I can recall several of the painful situations seen here in my own life. So sad that any human being would be treated so badly. Watch this with your children and explain what is going on and how we have changed and must continue to change.

Green Book won the Oscar for Best Film, as well it should. This is a film for all, and for all of us to look back once again on how we treat our people of color. It will bring tears, but also laughs and smiles. Viggo Mortenson and Mahershala Ali star in this film, and the company they keep is well worth the view. Ali plays Dr Don Shirley , the lead in a trio, playing in the Deep South, Mortensen plays Tony Liip, a Brooklyn born and bred boy, who is hustler and has become the driver for Dr Shirley. His job is to drive and make sure all goes well. They run into many road blocks, and the history of the south comes to the fore. This is an amazing film full of history, it is a true story, and it is exactly what we need at this time in our history. Highly Recommended. prisrob 03-12-19
