> 3 dayI dump mop buckets down the drain, clean up at a high school. Probably best for a home setting. It helped to keep the drains clear when I put in 2 every other day.

Greater than one weekDespite reading the other reviews saying how it didnt have a scent, or that the stick broke, or worst-case scenario of it making the clog worse, I stubbornly decided to try this anyway. I didnt mind that it didnt have a strong scent, but I started wishing it did after my drain stopped draining at all and I decided to plunge it. Plunging it made it incredibly worse bc it brought up all this putrid-smelling black gunk. Our apartments handy man couldnt make it over for 2 days so that was disappointing--to say the least. On the upside, our tub is still working after we put a stick down the drain--thats a pretty low bar tho.

> 3 dayOur kitchen sink kept smelling no matter how many times I used baking soda & vinegar. I would also get an occasional skunky smell from the bathroom sink when brushing my teeth. We are on septic & figured the extra enzymes from these couldn’t hurt. Within in a couple of days of dropping in the sticks, the smells were gone. They started reappearing about a week ago, 6 weeks after we first used them, so I knew it was time to put more in. FYI, we were also having issues with odors in our front loader washing machine. Cleaning out the drain is both difficult & messy, so I figured I would try putting a stick in the washer drain hole as well. We now only use the washing machine cleaner once a month for maintenance vs at least once a week.

> 3 dayWe love these! Our bathroom sink always gets clogged because of hair and we were tired of having to call the plumber almost every other month. We ended up trying green gobbler with the two chambers and their hair catching thing, and it ate through the clog right away. We now get these for maintenance and we aren’t on top of it as much, but seriously no more clogging! It’s been 3 years and no issues whatsoever! I am blown away with how easy it is to use and I recommend it to everyone. Additional perk is it makes the drain smell nice too. Thank you!!!

> 3 dayI can’t say how they would help unclog a drain or prevent them from clogging but I like the way they keep the drains smelling nice. I bought them to help with a drain smell coming from the laundry room washing machine drain. So far they help but I’m not sure if they stay in the drain after I run loads of laundry I think the force of that much water pushes them down the drain. So my routine is to drop one in after I’m done doing the laundry and it keeps the drain smelling fresh between laundry days. Prior to using these a sewer gas smell would be present a day or so after laundry day and would last until the next laundry drain when the drains could be flushed with water from the washing machine.

12-04-2025Please see attached photo. This is a comparison of two brands of enzyme sticks. The issue with the Bio-Flow enzyme stick is that it immediately begins to expand when placed in water. This expansion clogs the drain, defeating the purpose of using an enzyme stick. In comparison, the Sani-Stick 360 does not expand, not clogging the drain. After only 48 hours the Bio-Flow stick has expanded to 4 times the original size, and becomes very soft and mushy – much like the clogs that you may be trying to prevent. After a week, the Bio-Flow stick is reduced to a sort of blob. I can only assume that, because of the expansion (and loss of color), the Bio-Flow sticks do not retain the clog-fighting enzyme. After a few days, they also completely lose their color, unlike the Sani-Stick 360. After each month, the drain with the Bio-Flow stick was obstructed with a blob that was once a stick. The Sani-Stick 360 maintains its form, not further blocking the drain (although it is very soft after a month). The Sani-Stick 360 does a great job of preventing unwanted build-up, when replace monthly. The Bio-Flow immediately creates unwanted blockage.
