GS Power 16 Gauge Wire (16 AWG) - 100 Foot, Pure Copper, Stranded Electrical Wiring for Speaker, Automotive, Trailer, Stereo and Home Theater Applications - Red/Black

First ordered the CCA and after working with 18ga; the 40w soldering iron burned off the copper and nothing would stick to the aluminum. Needed 16 & 14 gauge for some heavier LiOn battery packs and the 16 ga 99% Copper (not the CCA) was perfect for the projects. The wire was perfect; insulation was good; price was right; and, delivery excellent.

So I bought this with fairly low expectations, upon initial stripping of the wire I found it to be on par with my wire harness. I soldered my joints and the wire held up well. Its not stiff and the insulation feels like parts store grade but overall its good.

I almost got bamboozled with the cheapo copper coated aluminum but read some reviews and they pointed me in this direction. Great wire, using it for motorcycle rewiring and a classic car resto.

If I were smart Id buy more of this wire while the price and quality are both good. Sooner or later the price will go up, or the quality will go down.

This is good, flexible, pure copper wire. We will purchase again in the future. This is just a little note to the seller... replace the blue wire with a roll of brown wire (running lights). This wire set is good for trailer lights and an additional red wire to charge the trailer brake battery. The blue wire is not of proper wire gauge to operate the trailer brakes.
