Hagen HG Fluval Rib Hose 14.5mm 106/107 and 206/207

I was disappointed that these werent the hoes I was looking for. After I installed this new hose on my Fluval 204 it worked like it should have, awesome!

Yep, it is a hose. White instead of grey on the nozzle fittings. Otherwise it is, as expected.

This style tubing for the filter is satisfactory when only used with the filter only. If you want to hook up anything else in line (example: UV, heater, ect) you have to get tygon tubing and use hose clamps. My over all opinion is that the money they save by giving out this plastic tubing will just cause you headaches and cause to spend more money on tygon tubing.

Ive got an old 205. The hose gasket fits into the filter just fine. The outer diameter of the hose is actually slightly to large (about 22mm) for the inflow/outflow pipe fittings. Had to cut the ends a bit so I could collapse them enough for my intake/outflow fittings to over them. This is a total McGyver hack though and isnt a full seal, but ill work well enough until I can find a different intake stem and outflow pipe. Was not expecting this to be an issue. :(

This tubing was hard to find at brick and mortar pet shops. Allowed me to modify my current filter effortlessly.

If you need to change the configuration of a Fluval 206 and cut the original hoses too short, this is what you need. The advantage over hardware store vinyl tubing is that this doesnt kink when it needs to bend.
