> 3 dayVery soft and warm for these colder months. Velcro keeps babys arms in place perfectly. Dislike the new zipper. I have an older version in the NB size that my very large baby grew out of early, so I purchased this. The zipper is not the greatest. The old version zipped from the bottom and had a two way in case you wanted to leave the baby swaddled for a MOTN diaper change. This new version zippers from the chest only, so you can still have the MOTN access. However it only zippers from the top, which means if you have to get to the top for some reason (like a sleeper that only unzips from the top) or have to take your baby out in the MOTN, it is WAY harder to get back on, especially in the dark. You have to line up the zipper at the neck and hope you can get it without waking the baby too much. Sometimes requires more light ot two hands, which isnt always an option if you are trying to keep baby sleepy. Love everything else but poor design makes me wish I could return for the older version. LO has already used and spit up on, so I cant send back. I probably will not use as long as I did with my last baby, once the swaddle is no longer needed, we will switch to a sleep sack that has a better zipper. Disappointing as I like the ability to swaddle the body when baby can start rolling. And expensive for using just for another month before that happens. Recommend funding the older version or something different if you need to take baby out of the sleep sack at all during the night.

> 3 dayThis sleep sack is great so if you’re in the fence, just buy it. I bought it for my 3 day old daughter as my husband and i had a hard time swaddling her. she can easily have her arms out and it keeps her warm! I usually put her in just a onsie for bed in this since the fleece is warmer than other fabric. Love it! Buy it!

Greater than one weekWe bought this purple halo sack in a size 3-6month. It’s just like our other ones we bought from target EXCEPT it only has one zipper and that’s tough not having a two zipper two way. When she’s restless it’s hard to connect the zipper at her neck like you would a jacket but by her neck… it’s awful and I’m not sure how this is the only halo built like this unless we got a miss made one.

> 3 dayAs a former NICU nurse, I would buy this sleep sack for every baby shower I went to. Now that I am a new mom I use them constantly myself. The startle reflex is a natural reflex babies have that can awaken them. If you want better sleep, swaddle!! But use a swaddle that your baby can’t break out of easily. These sleep sacks use basic Velcro to hold the baby tight. And as your baby gets bigger you can set their arms free by attaching the Velcro around their torso instead. This sleep sack has helped my baby learn the sleep through the night by 3 months. And they have thicker ones for winter and thin ones for summer. I’ve stocked up!

> 3 dayThis has been such a game changer for our 3 month old daughter. She has a strong startle reflex and this suit helps her sleep for 7-8 hour stretches.

> 3 dayCons: soft fabric= warm. Our LO runs hot - so we have to be careful about no socks or mittens and a short sleeve onesie or he over heats. Velcros- always triggers his startle reflex when I we have to open it. And isn’t strong enough to hold down his hands which he fights to his face every time. If you LO doesn’t struggle to have hands up by his face, you live in the cold, then this is a soft option, easier than transitional swaddle IMO

> 3 dayI received a micro-fleece halo sleepsack swaddle at my baby shower and was shocked how much better my newborn slept in it compared to any other swaddle. I had to buy more! Only downside to this one is that it doesn’t have the dual zipper like the one I was gifted, but that’s easy to get used to. My daughter loves to sleep with one arm out and this makes it easy to achieve that.

> 3 dayI don’t know why I waited so long to switch to using this warmer swaddle at night. I didn’t realize how cold my baby had been getting until putting her in this the first time—she slept so much better! I think I was hesitant because of reading that babies can easily get overheated, but let me tell you, I live in Southern California where it is generally very warm the climate is moderate, and my baby has not gotten too warm in this even with pajamas and a short sleeved onesie underneath. During the late fall and winter months, temps at night where I live can drop down to the mid 30s, so it definitely gets chilly! Even with keeping the house at 68 degrees, I found that my baby was getting cold during the night in the cotton sleepsack. If you’re thinking about it at all, just try it!

> 3 dayId give this a 5 star review if not for the zipper separating from the top down after only a handful of uses. Id blame it on the wash, but Ive always laundered the sleep sack inside out and with the zipper closed.
