This is so much easier than using a sponge or rag. Cleans the muck out of rails and window sills.

This little tool is very handy for cleaning out window track groves. It is great for getting out those little bits of this and that that can accumulate in the window tracks. It is made of plastic and so is not particularly sturdy, but as long as you dont step on it or force it, it will hold up quite well. It is one of those little items that make a bothersome job much easier. I keep mine handy, especially in summer. With the tracks cleared by the brush, opening and closing the windows is a much easier.

Looks like a functional tool altho a bit chintzy. Anything is better than using a Q-tip so am keeping it.
