Hangman Products S-2040A No Stud TV Hanger Mount TVs up to 55-Inch

My intentions were to review after 6 months and then again after 12 months. Ceiling mounts used in other rooms weren’t an option & wall mounts were frustrating because I didn’t want to struggle with a stud finder or to create unnecessary holes in the wall due to human error (mine). So I found this stud less wall mount. I installed this 5 days ago & on day 3 & 4 we had an earthquake and an aftershock that felt larger than the initial earthquake the day before. It’s still holding up. The only big deal to point out is that the included leveler is NOT reliable. I learned this from the reviews before purchasing. I used the included leveler and not that I had. They showed different readings. I went with my level based on previous reviewer recommendations & im satisfied. The next step is to get cable management strips to hide the cables. I’m planning on getting ones that can be painted & that can hold more cables than I have so that way I have room to grow without having to make any additional purchases. For the price, quality, and reliability, I think this is a great choice. After mounted, the tv won’t tilt or swivel. It’s fixed. So also keep that in mind.

Ill be honest, when I saw this product I was initially terrified at the prospect of hanging my 48inch baby with what are essentially finishing nails. That being said I am too lazy and do not own the appropriate tools necessary to find a stud and hang the tv using a more traditional mount. The pictures on the box really made this look too easy. All the instructional material showed pictures of this tiny woman hanging her tv with ease without messing up her manicure. The only thing missing from the pictures was the little pink hammer I felt like I should be using. To install this I used half the tools I own, a hammer, and a screwdriver. It came with all the nails, screws, and even a little level. To look at the 20 or so finishing nails that are about to hold up your tv is scary, but apparently physics wins, once again, and my tv has yet to come crashing down. This took me 10 minutes to install and I have little to no skills with anything handy like this.

Product lived up to other positive reviews. Probably took me 25 minutes to mount ( and I did not rush). Used to mount a 26 inch monitor/TV above my desk to provide more working space without the monitor stand. Well worth the time, effort and cost. If I can install something without a cloud of obscenities floating over the house it has to be easy. If you want a simple, affordable mount this might work for you too.

I tried to install this by myself, but I definitely needed help. I hung a 50 in tv on it and it’s holding steady.

Put a 50 inch tv up with this product and is sturdily up on the wall. Used an electric drill with the screw driver head in order to put in the screws and a regular hammer to hammer in the nails. The level included with the product was used as well.

I have a 55 in tv hung with this product. It been over a year now and its just as sturdy as day 1! It was super easy to install and I purchased 3 more to hang tvs in the other rooms! I recommend this product to anyone who wants to mount their tvs themselves.

Absolutely love this thing. Its a simple metal track. beats any bulky wall mount. Handsdown. If you want to wall mount your flatscreen, this is how you want to do it. Just bought 2more.

I was skeptical of the fact of using nails for a 50in flat screen at first. Me and my 17 yr old completed the task with ease. After placing all the nails in place. The bracket is sturdy, secure and holds the tv in place with a slight tilt. So excited about my mounted tv. I been procrastinating on paying someone to find studs. Now I just saved money and have a professional looking mount. Will be mounting my 55in next.
