We bought two of these and both were packaged really well, but both of them were. Token in the exact same spot when we opened them. The child’s size seat where it hooks into the larger seat has a little knob that was just broken off and floating around in the box. We thought we could superglue it back together, but nothing worked. We ended up ordering another one from somewhere else.

This toilet seat would be okay if it werent for the next to impossible to interpret the instructions. The instructions list two separate ways to install the toilet seat, each of which involves different components / screws. There is little explanation as to when to use which method and which pieces go with what plan. Looking at other reviews, it seems its not just us. Get ready to be frustrated! Once you have managed to install it (after many a curse word being thrown around, and probably jury-rigging the whole thing), the seat itself seems to be decent. The double rim is perfect for potty training and will easily attach to the lid with a magnet. The lower rim is a bit narrower than that of our previous toilet seat to better accommodate the potty training. part. Well probably just switch back to our old seat once our kiddo is over his trepidation of sitting on a regular sized seat.

For the price I am very disappointed with the quality. Within a few weeks of getting this seat one of the magnets fell off and my kid flushed it without realizing it. Now, at 5 months old, the soft close feature stopped working. Attempted to get support on the item and its not an option. Giving 3 stars because the company was great with replacement for the the magnetic but the product itself deserves a 1 star.

The kid seat sticks to the seat cover w a magnet. Great idea. Unfortunately, sometimes the magnet falls out and, if youre lucky, it doesnt fall into the toilet and get flushed because you didnt notice. I havent seen replacement magnets available to buy so we are stuck with a toilet seat that slams loudly every time you close it.

A quality product comparable to big brand names like Kohler and American Standard. Installation isnt hard but can be confusing because the parts provided do not match the instructions. I had to look at all the parts provided and decide on which combination of parts would be best to mount the seat on my toilet. If youre not the Mr. Fixit type, you will have a challenge mounting this toilet seat. The seat itself functions as expected. The slow close feature works well and was a major factor in my decision to get this toilet seat. The toddler seat is secured to the lid by magnets. It is not a slow close seat but is so lightweight that dropping it is of little consequence. The reason I rated this toilet seat 4 instead of 5 stars is because its not as comfortable as the American Standard toilet seat that it replaced. Seat comfort is tolerable but could be better in my opinion.

I purchased this as they stated it works with Caroma toilets. Although it does partly work, it still shows in the instructions that to tighten properly you have to hold the bottom part which is impossible. I did what I could but it’s a bit loose since my toilet doesn’t provide access to the bottom portion where you would hold it by hand or wrench for extra tightening. I bought another seat from Rona (Mayfair) and for the same price, the quality of Mayfair is much better. Unfortunately, they didn’t provide the screws for tightening with a Caroma toilet so I installed it in the 2nd bathroom. I will leave it like this for now but if I could go back in time, I would have bought another Mayfair seat and just purchased the screws separately to fit the Caroma toilet.

I just installed this seat and I love it. It was quite easy to install and feels more heavy duty and durable compared to other toilet seats. Perfect to potty train and quite easy to maintain and clean. Will recommend this to my family members and friends :-)

Who wants to deal with the gross task of emptying out a potty into the toilet? or the hassle of moving a toilet stool everytime you need to use the bathroom. This is such a seamless way to help your kid use the bathroom without feeling so different from everyone as s/he grows up. All our guests comment how great it is. Definitely worth the buy. Also, easy to install.
