Hitachi 6696549 T/CG24EASPSL Air Cleaner Assembly

I had somehow broken the top latch off of the one on my leaf blower. This part was exactly what I needed. Direct replacement that even came with a new air filter. Took me approximately 5-10 minutes to replace.

I only needed an air filter for my Hitachi RB 24EAP leaf blower, but for a few more dollars I went ahead and bought this and it came with primer bulb too. Easy to replace and works great.

I purchased my blower from a pawn shop for $20 because it was missing this piece. With it becoming harder to find reputable small engine mechanics with a good turn around time, I decided to DIY this. This item was delivered at 11:15. By 11:30 I’m finished installing and writing this review. It was a breeze to install as it’s only 2 screws and like one other reviewer said it does come with the filter. Be careful with the hoses and gasket if you plan to reuse. (I was careful) Also since it comes with a fuel bubble, ensure you pop the old one out of the other device if it’s still good. Now I’m on my way back to that same Pawn Shop to purchase another blower for $19 with a bad bubble and some other pieces that I will be ordering.

Perfect! Needed the priming bulb, getting it as a part of the whole assembly with a new air cleaner was a bonus!
