01-04-2025After buying a set of different brackets that turned out to be really flimsy I spent more money on these and am really glad I did. They may be more expensive but they are worth every penny of it. These are very sturdy and strong brackets.

> 3 daySturdy brackets and long screws. Worked great for paint can shelves on studs. I screwed 3-4 brackets to studs per shelf. Home Depot cut me (4) 8’x12” shelves out of a sheet of 3/4” thick plywood. Measured & marked where I wanted the shelves and screwed together. Easy install, the screws impact drove deep into studs...not going anywhere. For those using for paint cans or very heavy things make sure you get at least 3/4” thick plywood and use 4 brackets for 8’ long shelf if not adding supports like I did. Also the smaller screws that screw into the shelves are under 3/4” so they don’t come through the shelf. Once the shelves were up, for extra support I notched out (3) 2x4s where the shelves met the 2x4 and installed them standing up, one on each end and one in the middle. I have no doubt the Brackets/shelves will hold the paint cans but I have 6 shelves on one wall and that’s a lot of weight in paint cans for 1 wall without the 2x4s support.

> 3 dayThe middle screw hole is in an awkward place. But if you have the tools to make it work then youll be pleased with how sturdy they are. Way better price than what I was finding in hardware stores.

> 3 dayNice sturdy brackets. The wall mounting screws and anchors are large and of good quality. Only thing that could have made installation easier would have been to slightly offset the wall mounting holes from centerline to more easily get a driver on them. They did this with the holes that mounts the shelves, just not the wall holes.

> 3 dayI ordered these in Feb. 2020. I was hoping to go with the floating bookshelves, but it seems most people dont actually use bookshelves (floating or otherwise) to hold books, but knick knacks. Thats not conducive to my needs since I teach literature and then genuinely love reading. So I went with these. Theyre much more cost effective than going to a Home Depot or Lowes. Months later, I havent had any problems with them holding up my books. I used them on shelves I got from Home Depot that can hold up to 50lbs per foot. The only issue I have with them is there are four holes behind the diagonal bar that runs across the bracket ends. This made it extremely difficult to get screws all the way through because they slid and ground down against the bracket. I struggled using the electric screwdriver, so once done, my husband gave me the socket wrench. But that also proved extremely difficult to use behind the bar. This all wouldnt be as big an issue if majority of the holes on the bracket werent under the bar, but theres six hole - 3 on each side - and only two are not under the diagonal bar. The result is I have 8 of the 10 brackets with at least one screw not fully embedded into the wall or the shelf. This is after I moved the brackets in a different spot on the wall to account for wall studs and where I thought the wall was the issue. Majority are in wall studs. So overall, while the quality of the bar is good, and Im confident theyll do their job, it seems the manufacturer didnt account for placing the holes or the diagonal bar in a position where people are screwing all six holes solidly into whatever theyre used for. Thus, the reliability and sturdiness are questionable over a long period of time. Its a waiting game for now, but I didnt do the full 50lbs/1ft for my books. Just to be safe. Picture 1: All shelves. I used these brackets on the top and bottom shelves. The middle shelves brackets are from Home Depot. Picture 2 (Blue arrows): Picture is under shelf. Screws are at angle because I couldnt screw it in straight and still get a fully screwed in Picture 3 (Red arrows): 3 brackets showing screws not fully embedded. Some are at an angle (in order to achieve deepest screw in); these are the ones that grated against brackets because they couldnt go any further given the angle. Some remained straight, but wouldnt go further. Pictures 4-5: Front angle and bottom angle of bracket to show placement of diagonal bar in comparison to where screw holes are / would be if not already screwed in wall. (Couldnt get it to turn upright, but thats a binder on the other side of shelf.) Picture 6: Just showing the five brackets and the bottom shelf.

> 3 dayI wasnt sure what I would get when I ordered these, but they are excellent. They are sturdy; the finish is great; and it comes with heavy duty screws with an equally nice finish and anchors. I am very happy with the purchase--so much so that I bought more. My garage will finally be organized.

Greater than one weekThese are a rock solid product. The weight and feel of the brackets were superior. They could hold up a car. I hardly do reviews, but had to do this one. I was so impressed. I would definitely buy these again and recommend them to anyone.
