This humidifier worked quietly and the stream of mist produced is strong and did a good job of combatting the dry air at home. I like that this humidifier has an auto mode which monitors and keeps humidity to ideal levels instead of having to manually fiddle with it myself. Refilling it is very easy and I like that when Im filling it up, I can just drag a pitcher over and not make a mess at all

I have been looking for a humidifier like this for years. Here are the best features: -5L reservoir -easily removable reservoir by removing the top (nothing to unscrew!) -Large mouth for reservoir for easy cleaning Heres what I had no idea I wanted but love: -removable plug/AC adapter (makes bringing the whole thing to sink to clean really easy -TOP FILL OPTION - I can just pour water in the TOP! -Ability to direct the steam in two directions Heres what Im indifferent to: -Lights, I dont need multi-color lights. Why do humidifiers keep adding this feature? -Oil diffuser (I have no interest in this)

We have used humidifiers in all our kids rooms since they were babies. The last time we purchased a humidifier was 4 years ago. This is a pretty good upgrade in these last few years. From what I know, humidifiers were previously made with a bottom fill, so they were really difficult to clean properly. When our old humidifier for my son was dying, we were looking at getting a top fill to replace it for ease of clean. This is such a great model! It is a top fill, but not only that, the part you would fill in the sink is completely separate from the motor. So when you fill this container, theres no chance of getting water in the motor. It also will be incredibly easy to clean and keep free of mold. It has a great output, definitely think I will want to use manual mist as it can definitely put out a lot. My only qualm would be with the light feature. My son already uses a blue nightlight in his room, so I thought this might be able to replace that; but from what I can tell, the light only has the option to cycle through colors and cant be stationary on one. I just turned that feature off. Im excited to try the aroma tray, too, as adding some eucalyptus during the winter months helps with the airways.

Good sized humidifier for a small to medium sized room. It’s easier to fill the tank directly and once full it lasts for quite a while. Noise level is okay as it isn’t fully silent but doesn’t make much noise while it’s in use. It also has space for essential oils at the top.

I like the design of this humidifier, and its super quiet and easy to use. Okay for a very small bedroom with the door closed, but no good for anything bigger. My bedroom is only about 65ft2/6m2 and I was only able to get the humidity to 40% after a night of running it on high. In the rest of the condo (with the doors to washroom, bedroom, and laundry closed) I cant get humidity any higher than 20% as measured by the machine. I believe the lowest it goes is 20%, because my standalone hygrometer shows markedly lower than that. Without any added moisture, my condo goes as low as 10% humidity but usually sits at 15% on my hygrometer. Its not listed here anywhere, but on the box it lists the coverage as 323 ft2/30 m2--I highly doubt this claim, but its definitely not enough for my situation (my condo is a total of 560 ft2 but this includes all rooms). I also noticed fine white dust around where I situated the humidifier, but my water does run a little hard and I didnt use purified or filtered water--its just not practical to put 5L of that into this machine every day and a half or so, since I have to run it on high constantly. The tank is also a little cumbersome to move after its been filled, since theres no handle but its not impossible. The cleaning is not too bad since the atomizer has a cover you can remove, plus the tank itself is very good. Its just a shame that its not powerful enough for me. ------------------------------------ The above is the original 3 star review for the humidifier, and I stand by it. I have, however, upgraded my overall review to 4 star because the Homvana customer service is 5 star. They contacted me after seeing my review and offered to send their warm/cool mist humidifier that cover 800 sq ft for free, which came quickly and works better. I ran both humidifiers and was able to get my humidity to a comfy 35% after half a day. For full transparency, I will say that they did also ask for a rating upgrade, but I appreciate the service enough that I was willing to do so. For what its worth, if your air is really dry and you have a medium area youre trying to humidifier, the warm/cool model does make a much more noticeable difference. That one uses far more electricity and is a lot more difficult to fill and clean though, so if youre looking to add just a bit more moisture to a small space, this model is alright.

Homvana has made excellent products and I stand behind them and what they make, and this humidifier fits in perfectly with their high standard. I have been using this in a mixture of different places so that I could have it on most of the time and provide a thorough review, and I must say, for the cost, I havent seen a humidifier near this. For starters, out of the box, the humidifier feels well made, it is mostly or all plastic, however it seems quite durable and strong, its NOT your typical cheap plastic. The topfill design is just simply genius at this point. Being able to refill the humidifier with it still running has made refilling it much less of a task and more of a thing you can do whilst your passing it. The 5L capacity does indeed run for the 50 hours it mentions, I actually got 52 hours out of my tank before it ran dry, which id also like to mention it has an auto shutoff for IF it runs out of water. (Great safety feature) I love love love the humidistat, I keep mine around 50-55% as thats what feels best and quite surprised to see all of these options on a humidifier at this cost. This thing really does kick out A LOT of mist, and with the 360 degree nozzle, it reaches darn near every bit of the room, and within 15-20 minutes its like youre sitting in humid Florida. Overall, an amazing humidifier and especially in the price range it is.

Pros: + The unit holds a lot of water. + I can run it on high all night and it has water still in it. But it does need to be filled every night. + There are 7 colors of lights that shine with this. They can be turned off. + The unit is very quiet when it runs. + You can use essential oils in it. This replaces my nighttime oil diffuser. + The unit is easy to clean. + This really helps with my sinus issues. + I love auto-mode. I can set it and it will automatically keep it at that percent humidity. + Taking off the lid is easy and allows you to fill it so much quicker. Compact and powerful humidifier. Pushes out a large amount of atomized water while also super quiet. This is the quietest humidifier I have used. The top fill is very slow. Its easier to lift the top and pour in water from a jug. It doesnt have an external humidity sensor so it doesnt measure humidity accurately especially if the mist is falls on the front of the unit where the aroma box is (air intake). Real humidity level is 10 to 15 percent lower than what is shown on the unit. It has an automatic mode but you cannot set a preferred humidity level.
