Hoover Power Scrub Deluxe Carpet Cleaner Machine, Upright Shampooer, FH50150V, Red

I purchased this machine along with the Hoover Deep Clean and Restore Carpet Solution. I am very pleased with the outcome after using the combo to clean the carpet in my apartment. I moved in to this apartment about 4 years ago and Im not sure how well the carpet was cleaned before I took residence, but I can tell you the carpet was not new. Since, then the carpet has not been cleaned. I would have to pay to have it professionally done anyway, so I figured for what they charge Id get my own machine. That way I can clean it as often as needed. I wasnt expecting miracles but just hoping to get several stains out of the living room and help the overall appearance. However, this thing worked miracles The stains were no match for the machine & solution. I had used spot cleaners multiple times and they hardly lightened the hue of the stains. Using this on the deep clean setting removed them easily. Also, the rotary brushes do a great job lifting the carpet pile and getting rid of the matted/worn look. I wasnt ready, however, for the pure vile filthiness this thing would extract from my carpet. The solution goes on clear but the dirty water tank looked as if I was brewing coffee. When you dump the dirty water, I recommend having your emotional support animal with you. Having to emotionally cope with the dirt and grime this thing picked up was the only downside to using it. Between myself, a teenager, and my German Shepherd Mix, I figured we tracked in some dirt...but I was in NO WAY expecting what I saw. Im just glad that funk-nastiness is no longer in my carpet. I highly recommend this little machine. My carpet looks better than the day I moved in.

This carpet/upholstery cleaner is as good if not better than any machine I have ever rented. The carpets felt nearly dry when I finished. Simple to use and compact. I think this may be my new “favorite” household appliance.

After I finished the dirty water was as black as printers ink and the carpet was beige not brown. I used the cleaner again the following week. The dirty water was grey this time, so progress on this filthy carpet. I found out later that this carpet hadnt been washed in 22 years! I will use the cleaner again in a couple more days, and when I expect 22 years of dirt will be vanquished completely. I highly recommend this product; its the best.

Easy to use

Excellent for stairs. The scrubber attachment and long hose made it easy to clean the stairs. Just have to make sure that you attach it properly as improper attachment can affect suction. Im very happy with this machine.

5 dogs. Two boys. We don’t wear shoes in house but still…. The carpet came out like the day it was installed. The darker marks are just the shading from paws and feet prints not dirt. This was better than expected. I highly recommend.
