> 24 hourI ordered two and they both went out within a year. I didnt move them when they were placed so it wasnt that either. And my valve index base stations have been moved twice and theyre still working perfectly after a year and a half. I also started a refund on one back in August 2021 and they never did refund me my money, and the other one as of Dec 22 2021 went bad so I cant return that one. So just avoid this.

> 24 hourPros: These are identical to base stations i got from valve. Works like a charm. However, I have few cons that are making me consider if I should return these and wait until valve starts reselling. Cons: I bought two, and both are significantly louder than base stations that came with valve index. Very annoying tinnitus hum. No mounts! ?? This costed $50 more.. cmon man. Lastly, the wire is shorter than valve index stations. I needs to be at least 2-3 feet longer. Edit: Noise is not much louder than the valve base station.. it was more to the fact that any time you add another base station, frequency goes up and the sound gets louder. I have four, which make it really loud.

> 24 hourI have never in my whole life ever written a review on any product because I didn’t wanna become a Karen…but I think In this case I’d be saving people money, DO NOT buy these base stations I’ve bought two from this and BOTH have come in faulty straight out the box, out of the box I get them set up, mounted, and I plug them in, to my delight it goes from blue…to green…. But then to a slow blinking red, upon doing research I found that it’s an internal error and I gotta contact the company, so I do…but was given an issue and was never given a replacement (which from my understanding they’re suppose to do) , I would heavily consider where you spend your money because in my opinion this isn’t it

> 24 hourValve confirmed that this base station is dead. We have an Index and it gave us a warning that it wasn’t functioning. They used the serial number and found it broken. THIS IS RIDICULOUS: WITHIN 74 DAYS! It’s been on a pole anchored to the wall the entire time. No damage on our part, just randomly died. Our other two base stations have lasted since October of last year.

> 24 hourI needed one more base station to clear out some occlusion issues I had due to items in my room, and it works perfectly. I liked it so much I got 2 more, and now I have 5 bases and very little issue with tracking anymore.

> 24 hourCable is shorter and arrives bent up, so it doesnt flow down the wall very well. No mount kit, or stand. You pay $50 more, just to get less. I guess if you absolutely cant wait (like me) then get this. Youll prolly be disappointed though.
