Ive never owned or used a laser level. Im in the process of gutting 2 of my bedrooms. The first bedroom I replaced the ceiling joists with 2x12 boards. I hung them alone using a 4 foot level. My house is 120 years old. There isnt anything that is level or square in the house. Lol. I bought this level before I started replacing the joists in the 2nd bedroom. Wow what a a difference! It took me around an hour of playing around until I figured out how to use it. It was so easy putting the joists up, building 3 closets from scratch and another wall. I love this laser level. I am going to do some more research on how to get the full use out of it. Im already looking forward to installing a drop ceiling in my brothers house. Good stuff!

Its unfortunate, with this Huepar laser , the laser box doesnt hold the wall mount bracket, not to smart.

I dont like the laser dont spin.

Dont get me wrong, its a good product for the price. If youre mainly using it indoors for leveling or reference lines, its good. Outdoors however, these dont work well. The lines are dim in daylight. I purchased the receiver for additional distance and accuracy, and the receiver cant get a reading. I tried multiple times of day, and it has to be quite dark for it to work. The advertised range is 85ft plus, but I can barely get it to work at 40 feet.

good not the brightest... good for small rooms.. in bright areas id say 30 or less
