Humminbird 408450-1 5 Port Ethernet Switch , Black

Did exactly what I wanted it to do connected both fishfinders and ipilot ulterra together now I can share way points and control ulterra from either unit

I have both depth finders and Trolling Motor all tied together

Purchased for my husband’s second boat and is is happy with it, works just perfect

This product, objectively, is great. It is well designed as far as I can tell, is quite sleek, and serves its purpose without flaw. However, it is expensive for what it does. I do expect things which are built for an outdoor environment, especially around the water, to cost more, so I don’t want to be totally unfair here.

Looks like it might work...however: The cable that extends from the switch box to the battery or fuse box is too short. Only 6 feet long, needs to me much longer for most boats. The installation instructions are difficult and incomplete, according to the professional electrician helping me. Ive tried to call Humminbird, but their line is busy. Nothings easy when it comes to this switch.

Exactly what I wanted for the right price

Youll need this for any Humminbird network- if use 3 or more components (2 monitors + Terrova or any motor with I-Pilot). I mounted it in my battery compartment where all my wiring was coning into and have had no issues with interference.
