Husband needed an extra for his other boat and he’s happy with this purchase, works as described.

I have a one year old Humminbird 898 combo GPS depth finder unit on my boat. I also have the I Pilot option which will not work without the GPS and Lake master map card. My antenna stopped working after only 25 hours and I contacted Humminbird tech. They immediately replaced the GPS receiver. Another 10 or so hours later I had the same problem again and again got hold of tech support. They suggested I send in my antenna, transducer and instrument for testing and gave me a return number. I went back out fishing with my wife and her friend and the unit started working again. I checked on the price of another GPS receiver and Amazon beat everyone, Humminbird included. Now I have a spare. Lots of reviews on line showing Im not the only person experiencing this GPS receiver defect. I love my unit when it works.

Seems to be extremely accurate and starts up and finds satellites very quickly. The heading sensor is nice so when I have the map set to heading-up it doesnt spin when Im not moving.
