It worked out great for using in my basement.

The cable fits my 998SI work as expected, would recomment it to anyone, just add the type of plug needed.

Bought it for updating the Humminbird inside the house. Just wire it to a 12v 2A source with a fuse and do all your updates and chart plotting from your computer desk.
