Use multiple layers if you want maximal crinkle sound. Worked very well for use in baby toys. Recommend and would buy again.

The crinkle in my dogs toy got bunched up, and he didnt enjoy the toy as much anymore. I sewed a single layer of this into the toy, and it is crinkly again, which makes him happy. A single layer has a better crinkle factor than multiple layers. When I tried to crinkle in the package, I wasnt impressed. As soon as there was only one layer, my dog really perked up. He waited outside my sewing room until the toy was out of surgery.

Super happy with this product! It provides a great crinkle while being easy to manipulate and sew, but is not too brittle. Have tried other brands and when you pin or sew, it causes the crinkle to tear easily. This holds up very well through the whole process. Ordering more.

Interesting challenges ahead

I bought this crinkle paper to make soft baby blocks and crinkly blanket squares and it worked great! It was easy to sew with the fabric and makes a nice loud crinkly sound easily so theyll be able to activate it without too much pressure.
