Inner diameter is 1/2. Previous reviewer got this wrong.

I bought these with Hydrofarm AAEL50 Active Aqua (10 Pack), 1/2 Elbow Connector, 1/2-Inch, Black, based on reviews and comments for other buyers. The grommet and the elbow complemented each other for a perfect fit. I used them to make self-watering 5-gallon bucket planters. The grommet seated perfectly in 3/4 drilled-out hole. The elbow just slipped right in. The rubber material was smooth and elastic, not rough and cracked as happened to old rubber.

So just to clarify the 1/2 is outside diameter so I think that makes the inside diameter 3/8. I will still put them to use just frustrating when I needed inside diameter to be 1/2

Easy install in 5 gal buckets

I used this to sleeve my shift rail on my transfer case. It hold up well to the heat.
