Look, you buy a tool to do a specific job. This tool does exactly as its designed to do. The glass tube is clean and clear and provides the perfect vessel to test the alcohol content of any liquid. The gauge is easy to read and accurate. A very professional tool that is only slightly more expensive than the cheaper alternatives. I would definitely buy again...if I needed to replace it.

It displays alcohol in water concentration very reliably. Reads to the nearest .5% above 20% alcohol assuming there is no residual sugar content
