I usually dont write reviews but this product was outstanding and loved it. Sound quality and noise cancellation was great. Used this for other than gaming and was very cool that I could remove the microphone

Really good headset.

I almost considered downgrading this to a 4 star but couldnt do it. Its not the fault of Hyper X that there is only so much power that you can pull from a 3.5mm headset input on a dualshock controller. For this price you will have a hard time finding a headset that delivers the clean sound that this does. While the microphone isnt the best Ive heard it is very good. The aluminum headband construction makes this nearly indestructible and the padding on top is more than sufficient. The ear cups are comfortable but can get a bit warm but not nearly as heat trapping as some others Ive tried. Hyper X always seems to deliver and this is no exception. I have a wireless headset for when I need more power behind the sound but for every day gaming this is another in a long line of quality products from Hyper X. Almost every gamer needs a wired headset even if it is a backup to a more powerful wireless set and this is the best you are going to get for the money.

I spend extra money on this headset, thinking that itll last longer than the cheaper knock-offs Ive bought in the past.

Ive had these for a little over 2 weeks now and do not regret purchasing these at all. My friends say that my mic quality sounds awesome, and I can hear everything crystal clear. I can easily pinpoint footsteps when Im playing an FPS game like Call of Duty, and the quality of the audio is great. I also like how the wiring is braided so it doesnt tear as easily. The only thing that I would change about these is to make it a hybrid wireless and wired headset
