Better than expected

The bits are precise. I like the ball bearings embedded into top of the screw driver cap. It feels smooth and silky to work on even tight screws. Good Job guys at iFixit !

This is a very comprehensive screw driver kit. There are enough bits for everything I have opened. And a lot of bits that I haven’t used. The flexible extension shaft and main handle are well made and feel solid to use. The lid has magnets at each corner to hold it in place. The inside of the lid has dividers to hold the screws you have removed so you can place them in individual compartments and not get them mixed up. It is amazing how handy that is. I would highly recommend this set.

This looks and feels like a very solid and durable set. I have used it a good few time now and it’s great. The magnetic heads are a must-have. The price is a little steep though so hopefully it will last for years.

Seriously, I have been repairing small electronics for decades now, over 30 dang years, and I will say this is probably the best deal and collection you can get for simple to even complicated repairs. It has a crapload of bits, but essentially everything you will need as opposed to the next larger offering, though I am still considering getting that for my dungeon downstairs. I keep this upstairs literally in the kitchen since a lot of promptu repairs occur at the dining room table, but I have not been let down. This is top notch/quality material and manufacturing. It not only feels comfortable but is very strong and bits do not let go of screws. It has a great deal of bits too, 64 in fact. It pretty much covers all the phone and laptop screws you will encounter and even has some socket ones too. Nice touch. The flex shaft i have yet to use as the regular screwdriver/handle for the bits is quite perfect size/length IMHO. I literally have no gripes about this set, and that is a rarity for me. Ifixit has astonished me each time I get a tool from them(or set). I bought the first set they had(that I was aware of) with the actual screwdrivers for each type of screw including torx. I used the heck outta that one, as it came with a type of synthetic fiber wrap up with velcro and pockets for each driver. It has stood the test of time, and the only thing you can discern its age by is the incriptions identifying the different types since I have essentially worn them all off, except for a few. I knew that this set was going to be special with that one preserving itself so well.

Its a good little kit, but the torx bits arent as sturdy as wiha.
