iGaging IP54 Electronic Digital Caliper 0-6 Display Inch/Metric/Fractions Stainless Steel Body

Ive used one of these for a couple of years on my 3D printer and its been fantastic. I just bought a second for my CNC as well, theyre just too useful.

After A LOT of research I purchased this digital caliper and Im happy with the results. This is my first tool like this so I cant give a good comparison of how it might stack up against other models but I can say that I can do multiple measurements with it and they always come out consistent. It has been very helpful when dealing with electronic boards/parts and finding out wire gages, etc.

I didnt know these existed until I saw Matthias Wandel on his youtube woodworking channel using them. I didnt think I needed one, but I got this thing and it makes you feel awesome. And its actually really useful! I just used it to measure the thickness of an envelope I was mailing to see if it was too thick...worked great! ha...and its been great to have in the workshop as well...very precise and inexpensive. 5-stars!

It drains a Lithium battery, within months, when turned off and not in use. This is the very same Lithium battery used inside most all laptop computers that is guaranteed to last at least five years and typically more under load.

This product does not work properly. It drops calibration and will not measure true. I have had it for a month and even resetting the guage it will not measure without dropping or adding 2.000 or -2.000 to it display. I may have a bad one because I have other iGaging squares which are accurate. This caliper is not.

Appears to be well built and accurate. Comes with a decent little case and extra battery. Great deal.

This with its large display makes it very easy the make measurements. The ability to measure fractions is particularly helpful with woodworking.

Really nice.... Right on the numbers... Great size.

These calipers are great and precise. I keep these in the case in my shop. They zero back in every time you close the jaws and you have full control of turning it off or having the option for metric or SAE and SAE in fractions. Living in a perfect world, I would have liked to see a better way of demarcating the none digital set point marker using an arrow or line. It uses the edge of the caliper arm instead of an actual marker.

Great calipers for a good price.
