Igloo 90s Retro Collection Fanny Pack Portable Cooler with Front Pocket and Adjustable Waist Strap Holds 3 Cans

We were looking for a cooler that was lightweight and easy to take with us. My son is in a select fallball baseball league and different baseball diamonds have rules regarding coolers. So we improvised and took a risk on this one. Igloo is a trusted name for years and have had no issues with previous Igloo coolers in the past. My son had a doubleheader this past weekend and we gave this sling cooler a try. At first my wife made fun of the retro 80’s color but figured this one is very portable and less obvious then other rolling coolers that can’t make it into some of these complex’s with no cooler rules. We packed this cooler with 6 standard 12oz cans and used the top part to pack a snack of string cheese and some fruit. The first day doubleheader the cooler barely made it through a five hour doubleheader. It was only 80 degrees outside and we barely opened the cooler so it didn’t keep the temperature that good. The next day we had a doubleheader and it was 85 degrees outside. This time we packed the same amount of goods but used three of our kids Yeti Ice packs. These ice packs are the small lunchbox ones and we slid one on each side of the cans and one on top. This worked way better. Lastly the can cooler that is provided barely did anything. Great grip but I would use one that is your go to so your canned beverage stays cold. So our final impression is this cooler has a funky 80’s vibe but it’s really portable. We recommend using ice packs to keep your items cold for extended hours. The material is very thin so we hope the cooler holds up. So if your looking for a portable cooler that is easy to transport this is a decent option. But if your looking for a cooler that lasts all day I would look elsewhere.

I ordered this cooler for one purpose only—to keep my beers frosty. And, at that job, Igloo knows a thing or two. This 80s-inspired retro cooler is perfect for filling up with your favorite beverages, throwing it over your shoulder, and heading out to adventure. For me, thats mainly in a friends backyard, although this cooler did accompany me on one late-summer river float. A few notes, based on my experience with this cooler: → The cooler isnt exceptionally well insulated. This product is a compromise between form and function. So, on sweltering days or prolonged periods, your favorite suds will start to warm up. → The styling is an attention-getter. → The barrel-sling cooler can hold up to six regular-sized cans. The interior insulation is held down the middle with some heavy-duty Velcro. You can unseat the Velcro to fit tall cans width-wise. → The top compartment can hold keys, snacks, cards... or another can of beer. Recommended!

Bought this for my boyfriends birthday! We play a lot of yard games in our backyard and we like to bring beverages with us from the house. Pop, adult beverages, etc.

I love the retro look of this line! This sling is pretty cool. I like that the main compartment is separated and padded so if I wanted to put bottles of wine in it, I could without them clinking together. Not sure how comfortable the strap will be, but overall its a great product!

This is the perfect manny-pack. Its well designed, well constructed and I dig the colors It holds six brewskies securely and they stay cold for about 1 hour. While Im using it for a Halloween outfit this year, I tested it out at an Octoberfest party and it was well received! I was very impressed and will be using this quite often in the future!

My husband saw this and had to have it. Who am I to deny him such simple pleasures in life. Hes a size 42 waist in jeans and it fits him with about 4-6 inches left of adjustment on it to go a little further.

Id expect this to be a good bit cheaper, but since you are buying it solely for the retro style, I guess I can ignore that for now. The sleeves for cans are a bit small/tight so you need both hands to fit a can into one, and theyre not terribly thick/insulating, but they do carry and insulate the cans, so I cant complain much. It looks and is fun more than practical, so if it looks like something youd enjoy whipping out at a party, go for it.

I got the sling pack that holds up to 3 cans on each side with a little zipper top for holding smaller items. It keeps my drinks/snacks cold and has a strap that is easily adjustable. This works great for day trips and for beach days. The only negative thing to mention is that the strap is still slightly big, even when its adjusted to its tightest length. Im able to make it work, but it could be tighter.
