Imachinist S6412121014 Bi-Metal Band Saw Blades 64-1/2 X 1/2 X 10/14TPI Variable Teeth M42 for Metal

Ive had a small machine shop for 13 years that works primarily in aluminum and let me tell you, Ive tried pretty much every brand of bandsaw blade made, and this brand is the one Im using for the foreseeable future. Better price and better construction, on the small horizontal bandsaw, when they eventually break, its NEVER at the weld like others, and on the larger vertical bandsaw they never break, but run so long that they do eventually dull and I replace the blade. They run quiet, and the weld joint is perfect with no space between teeth like some.

Cutting mild steel and teeth were already missing on the second cut. REVISED REVIEW BELOW: After I left a negative review (and rightfully so) I was contacted by the company and offered an upgraded replacement. I was sent a blade for stainless and it is performing much better. I would give this blade a 5-star review by itself. I adjusted my initial review from a 1 star to a 3 star to average out the two blades. There is no doubt the first blade deserved the 1 star review but I appreciate the company making things right. The second blade is much better so I would advise anyone to start with the blade made for cutting stainless. Im sure it costs a little more but it is performing better and it appears it will have a much longer lifespan.

Teeth durability. Teeth offset on one side dull then cuts very crooked.

This is an excellent metal cutting blade, works perfect in my Harbor Freight horizontal saw. The original blade the saw came with was a 14 TPI, not bad, but snapped. Replaced it with a US made 14 TPI which was total crap, dulled quickly and snapped. Ive used this bi-metallic blade for about two weeks now, and works perfect. Cuts quickly and smoothly, does not gum up and is a big improvement over the high-carbon blades. This is also pretty thin so it cuts quickly and passes easier in the metal. Excellent quality blade, very good steel, and comes nicely packaged with a plastic guard over the teeth so they dont chip. For the price, I dont think theres any other blade nearly as good.

after 2 years and a few hundred cuts, it still cutting very well, images speak for themselves, I do work on a lot of projects at home, bbqs, trailers, mechanical tools, ornamental, etc, I have this blade on a HFtools 4x6 saw, I dont do industrial work, but I do a lot of repetitive cuts with this tool. the imachinist blade has been a great upgrade to the HF saw, I have been able to cut grade 8 bolts, 1x4inch steel, tool steel, stainless, square tube, I highly recomend this blade

Cuts great. Held up a lot longer then the harbor freight blades.
