Greater than one weekIve used this umbrella during some of our Florida rain storms and it has become my favorite full size umbrella. Because of the unique closure it doesnt bring water into the car or the house/office if you position it correctly. I always give it a good shake to get water droplets off of it before coming in. It uses a sliding mechanism to open and has a button to push to close. Everything has worked smoothly so far and it appears to be very well made.

> 3 dayGifted this item to my adult son. He appreciates it, finds it works very well in protecting against the rain. Enjoys the convenience of the curved handle as well.

> 3 dayVery happy with this purchase so far. I took off one star because I noticed that some of the connections of the 2 layers of plastic are actually little fabric ties. I tried to show what I’m talking about in the photos and videos attached. But instead of using something like zip ties to connect the 2 layers of plastic, they used what looks like black thread. I took a star off, because I’m quite sure that the thread isn’t going to last forever and I will eventually have to either fix it myself or buy another. That said, as you can see in the video, it’s working like a dream! No leaks, and the push button closure works super smoothly! I’m a big fan of the “reverse” style of umbrella, and overall I’m happy with this purchase for the price.

> 3 dayThe metal clip that holds the umbrella open broke after the third use. I would not recommend this to anyone.

> 3 dayGood, solid umbrella with a big handle and decent coverage. While the inverted design is good for keeping you dry and is definitely less messy, it is not quite the revolution they might like you to believe, and it comes with some drawbacks. For one, you cant really operate this umbrella one-handed - opening it is definitely a two-handed affair, and a cumbersome one at that. I even pulled the handle apart the first time (but was able to re-assmble it easily). Closing it is easier, but it is a pain to step out into the rain and have to fumble with this thing just to get it open. Second, this umbrella is bulkier than a regular umbrella, and the ribs stick out at the end, making it useless as a walking-stick. Not that I need a cane, but when youre walking around with a big cane-like umbrella, and you cant put the tip against the ground without risking breaking the ribs, it kind of gets in the way. It is very nice to be able to close this thing up and keep the wet side away from you, but you still need to open it up to dry at some point - there are little holes on the under-lining, but it still needs to air out. I like it but it is not going to be something I take with me in case it MIGHT rain, but I would definitely grab it if it IS raining.

> 3 dayWhy didn’t they think of this sooner!! Love the new design. So easy to use and getting in and out of the car is a breeze! It folds up with the water in the closed part, so you and your car’s interior stay dry. I don’t often leave reviews, but definitely needed to give this product 2 thumbs up.

> 3 dayGoing to take this down a star for marketing this as a womens umbrella. I mean what is that? Anyway, smooth action to open and close. The nice blue skies on the underside of the canopy to help out when its a grey, dreary, rainy day. The reversible close helps keep things dry.
