Came with a fan. It’s not the “K” version which I love - sits easy at 51 degrees with a water cooler...and is quite fast! Shouldn’t need another processor for a long time. Intel processors, for me, as always lasted a long time !

Good job Intel! Idles at 38 with stock fan and fast as heck!

Working great in new PC. All cores and threads run on 4,6 GHZ. With Be-Quiet Dark Rock 4 on stress test holds 47 C.

Upgraded from an i5 6500 to this lovely processor. It goes up to 4.8ghz which is a huge upgrade for me from 3.2ghz.

There are many security issues with Intel and there fixes end up slowing the CPU down even more. A ryzen 7 3800x is currently 280 dollars and get better preformence, not to mention it also is supported on a 50 dollar motherboard(a320 but not recommended) or a 100 dollar b550, WITH OVERCLOCKING,

Initial review. Just received the product. Shipping box was in great shape. Intel box looked okay, except for that the seal has already been opened (see images). The white informational tape was undisturbed, but the factory seal tape has clearly been opened and retaped - notice the letters missing. Notice too how the chip is off center of the lid.

works well pc is very responsive, even when thermal throttling still clocks over 3GHz
