> 3 dayFast and great CPU! If you are just strictly going to game just go with the i5! But I do both game and editing so this is a great CPU to start with.

> 3 dayI bought four of these to upgrade PCs around my house. Blazing fast runs cool. Be wary of the coolers you buy.

Greater than one weekI had been planning to hold off for Raptor Lake, but my Z370 mobo died, and I decided to go ahead and get an Alder Lake i7. So far its impressive. It runs much cooler than my i9-9900k (mild OC) ( 59C-63C under a gaming load vs 75C+) but that couldve been due to the my old AIO being in its death throws for the past few months. 3DMark CPU score went up noticeably as well. Overall, Im pretty happy with it. Havent messed around with overclocking yet, but there doesnt seem to be as much headroom left as there used to be, from what Ive read 5.3 Ghz is about what you can expect. The days of getting another 800Mhz - 1 Ghz+ over stock clocks out of a CPU are gone it seems.

> 3 dayIf you are using this hard, get a large cooler, it has many cores and they can generate heat. That done, it is great.
